Spring at last!

At last the sun is shining and spring flowers are blossoming!
Last Thursday, the Interact Group came out to see their lovely crocuses in flower.  They have looked fabulous in the plant theatres on the shed and are helping to spread the message to End Polio.  Above you can see (left to right): Mrs Moir (teacher), Mrs Gordon (Rotarian) and pupils Alice, Adam and Michael.

Another visitor last week was P7 pupil Grant who loves working outdoors and got stuck right in to help clear the weeds from the unmade path ready for our boys to get laying slabs again soon.  Thank you Grant and see you this week too!

The Ellon Resource Centre group also swung by to see how things are going with a view to starting up their weekly work sessions too.  The weather was lovely so they too stayed for an hour or so and helped weed, water and sweep paths so everything started to feel tidier immediately :)
Meanwhile on Friday the EAGer Bunch started sowing pumpkin seeds...
...and Kiera gave the bird feeders a good clean out to prevent the spread of disease.
The S1 pupils started sowing vegetable seeds into trays...
...and cropped some of the last carrots (multicoloured - white, purple and orange) for our staff produce boxes.
